Welcome to 848 Royal Roads Air Cadets!

Thank you for visiting our website! If you would like more information about our Squadron, please contact us, or come on any Tuesday night to check us out. We are located at 1289 Parkdale Ave in Langford, BC, which is located at Lighthouse Christian Academy.




Our squadron is proud to be a registered non-profit charity. We issue tax receipts with a smile! We have partnered with CanadaHelps to accept online donations. Your donation will help us provide training in flying, gliding, band, drill, first aid, survival, community service and leadership. Never Ending Bottle Drive

Come grab a bag and get your friends and family to fill them up. Bring in your full bags, get entered in a draw for prizes, and get a new bag to be filled.


Summer Training

Summer training course applications have been given out. All forms must be handed in no later than Tuesday March 6th. No electronic submissions of applications will be accepted, only paper copies will be accepted. See Capt. Chan for details

Sponsoring Committee

The Squadron Sponsoring Committee is made up of enthusiastic parents and community members dedicated to supporting and promoting 848 Squadron. We fundraise and provide activities and housing for the cadets. We would love to see you at our monthly meetings! We can be reached at 848parentinfo@gmail.com.



848 was originally a Royal Navy torpedo bombing squadron.
Its crest was an osprey holding a torpedo in its talons.
The present squadron crest shows an osprey over the ramparts of Hatley Castle (Royal Roads).
